This Star washer is a specific type of washer designed to increase locking force by resisting torque applied by the nut, preventing it from unscrewing or separating. Featuring external tabs, star washers offer greater application suitability. External tooth of this washer extend radially outward to bite into the bearing surface. This M4 size Star washer is made up of stainless steel which is tough, ductile with cryogenic and high temperature. The washer is compatible for use in the assemblies of GE's Giraffe Omnibed and Giraffe Incubator systems. The washer will be shipped in suitable packaging to give adequate protection during transit.
