Product Overview
The Trunk Cable is mainly used in the ultrasound machines, Computed Tomography (CT) machines and also in a few other Digital Imaging (DI) devices. It has several respective types to meet the requirements of the standards being followed in different countries, including safety regulations. This specific trunk cable is used in the United States (US) and the manufacture follows their codes and standards. This cable plays a major role in the ultrasound machines. One end is called as yoke, which has ten terminals and the other end is a seven pin ODU connector which gets connected to the system. The patient will be connected to the lead wires and the other end of the lead wire will be inserted to the yoke of the trunk cable. It is used to get the data of a patient from the lead wire and interprets it to the system, which relates to the images of the ultrasound scanner and gives the cardiac cycle of the patient’s heart. The trunk cable comes as a kit with a mantle and label. It is widely used in machines like Vivid E95 / S6 / ICE / S5 / Q / E9 / I / IQ / 7 / E9 EXPERT, LOGIQ 700 / 9 / E / P7 / P9 / F6 / Book XP, IT ECHOPAC and a few more machines. They come with smooth finishing without any burrs, sharp edges, surface blemishes, sink marks or flash marks.
