This cable assembly interfaces between the gantry and system of a Computed Tomography System. It comprises of connectors that provide quick connects to the optical fibers. Connection integrity is provided by adapter latches which are locked into place on the connector plug by a spring loaded sliding mechanism. It also holds a dust cap to prevent dust or other small particles from entering the connector housing and damaging it. The ferrule alignment mechanism consists of two stainless steel guide pins that fit into precisely molded alignment holes. This cable assembly is compatible with Revolution 1.5C, Revolution 2.1A ,Revolution 2.1B, Computed Tomography System.
