The Yoshida AMX 4 and AMX 4+ Collimator Kit comes as a part of the collimator of radiographic systems that are used for imaging method diagnosis using X-rays. A stream of electrons produced by X-ray tube is accelerated to high velocities by an external high-voltage supply and collide with the target anode in the tube. The beam formed is focused on the patient and X-rays emerging from the patient carry the image information which can be stored in a film. A device collimator is provided to narrow the rays such that a parallel beam of rays is created which are aligned in a direction. In other words, it filters the rays. The kit consists of the collimator counter weight or shim weight along with the service instructions, safely packed in a container. The shim weight is installed on the studs by means of the washers/nuts. It comes as a part of the AMX 4 and AMX 4 Plus radiography systems.
