This cable assembly is used in PET/CT System. It comprises of 3 position combination D-sub connector plug at one end and combination D-sub connector receptacle at the other end. Both the connectors comes with thumb screws, overmolded and provided with a hooded boot, strain relief. This combination D-Sub is ideal for applications that require optimization of space while improving overall shielding and it accomplishes this by combining multiple interconnect types into one fully shielded product,decreasing the number of input output interfaces and reducing the possibility of electromagnetic interference or radio-frequency interference (EMI/RFI) leakage. The cable used is a 2 conductor 12 AWG size polyvinyl chloride jacketed which is flame retardant and can be made resistant to a wide range of chemicals including oils, acids and alkalis, and is tough, durable and resistant to abrasion. This cable assembly is labeled with connection identity and is compatible with Discovery 690, Optima 560, Discovery 610 Computed Tomography System.
