A Cartridge Heater is a tube shaped, heavy duty heating element used primarily in industrial settings. This cylindrical-shaped heating element is made of resistive wiring enclosed in a metallic sheath. This cartridge heater is a 34.9 mm diameter heater and comes with an Edison screw base which installs easily in a standard porcelain lamp socket. The sheathing around the heater is made from brass and the maximum sheathing temperature is 1000° F and the maximum working temperature is 600° F. It is designed to provide localized heat to a restricted work area that requires close thermal control. This cartridge heater is part of coldsleeve heater field service kit and is RoHS compliant.
