The Head Neck Unit (HNU), Head Pad Geometry Embracing Method (GEM) is used in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines, Computed Tomography (CT) machines and many other Digital Imaging (DI) machines. It is one of the parts that comes with the collector assembly and filler pads of this medical equipment. It is mainly used for resting the head and neck portion of the patient over the table assembly. The assembly consists of anterior, posterior, adapter block with bridge and adapter block. All these are assembled using the torque specification 10 ± 0.5 in-lb. All the units are surrounded by its respective covers for protection from the external environment. The assembly has ESD sensitive component, thus compliant with a standard ANSI/ESD S20.20. Also, It is a ROHS compliant.
