A generic potentiometer is a resistor with a sliding or rotating contact that forms an adjustable voltage divide, these can also be used as position feedback devices in order to create "closed loop" control. This potentiometer assembly is coupled with the motor of C-Arc Lateral Plane Detector assembly of GE's Interventional Image Guided Systems such as Discovery 620. The assembly consists of a 60 teeth timing pulley which can be coupled with the motor using the provided synchronous belt. The assembly has high quality materials and components which helps to offer a reliable operation, efficient functioning and longer life span. This product is tested to perform at extreme atmospheric conditions.
