Spacers are mechanical fasteners used to create or adjust the space between two objects. They may also be used to separate two parts. It is used in different types of assemblies for different purposes. Spacers are very useful in locating shafts, rotating and moving parts. Spacers can be in round or hexagonal shape, they do not have interior threading and available in a variety of materials. This particular part is made up of Type 303 stainless steel material and is a free machining modification of traditional stainless steel material. It is uniquely designed to improve machinability with good mechanical and corrosion resistant properties. The special composition of the material offers excellent toughness and good oxidation resistance. This spacer is being used in XR Definium AMX 700, XV Innova 2000, XR TRAD detector, UL LOGIQ 200, UL RT 3200, XR Monitrol 15 Rad Table DX/KX GEN, XF Legacy and in many other systems.
