Product Overview
The Integrated Head Assembly is located inside the LPCA (Low Profile Carriage Assembly) with the 20 pin quick disconnect towards the front. This assembly consists of 1.5T Head TR Preamp Filter Board mounted on mechanical enclosure. The Integrated Head Assembly has a single receiver channel and Transmit and Receive Switch for Head or Tx/ Rx Coils. The Head T/R Switch provides an RF switch between the Head Coil to the RF Amplifier and the Head Coil to Preamplifier. During signal transmission, the receiving port gets terminated to the 50 ohm receiving load, and vice-versa during signal reception. The assembly has all required connectors (a 20 connector, a DB9 connector, a BNC socket and a N type socket) for easy connections. The assembly uses high quality components meeting the applicable standards for reliable operation. This assembly can be used with Signa Excite 1.5T systems.
