This Hexagonal Socket Oval Tip Set Screw features a hex drive at one end and a spherical indentation on the other end. These set screws are often used in U-shaped and V-shaped grooves and on other sloped or angled surfaces. The oval tip allows for frequent adjustments with minimal surface damage. The hex socket drive systems are driven by hex wrenches or power tools with hexagonal bits. This screw is made up of stainless steel material with black oxide finish which ensures good rust-corrosion resistance along with that the screw's M16 threads provides good strength and load bearing capabilities. This M16 size 40 mm threaded length Oval Point Socket Set Screw is compatible for use in the assemblies of GE's Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Systems.
