Product Overview

This solenoid valve assembly is compatible for use in the GE's Cyclotron PET Radiopharmacy systems. This valve assembly has one deep inlet port and a shallow outlet port to which tubes will be connected for providing the flow path. This solenoid valve act as a control unit which when electrically energized or de-energized, either shut off or allow fluid flow. When this valve is energized, a magnetic field builds up which pulls the pivoted armature against the action of a spring. When de-energized, the pivoted armature returns to its original position by the spring action. This rugged valve operates with high repeatability, combining high speed and high flow in a small size. The coils are rated for continuous duty and are protected from dust and dirt. For operating the valve assembly this can be easily connected to the circuit board using the provided 2 position female conector.
