This LUBRIPLATE No. 1200-2 is a new type lubricant especially designed to meet the ever increasing requirements for higher film strength, higher operating temperatures, greater stability and longer lubricant life. LUBRIPLATE 1200-2 provides a tough protective film ensuring superior lubrication and extended lubrication intervals. The lithium thickener provides good water and oxidation resistance, along with this it also enhances the part life due to its high anti-wear properties. The mineral oil and lithium compund grease remains unaffected by most chemicals and coolants thus it is suitable for lubricating exposed gears also. This grease has beige color and comes in a pack of 14.5 Oz. The National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI 2) approvals of the grease ensures good consistency and gives low bleed characteristics to reduce the chances of oil getting separated, therefore the compound has long working life, and it also helps to maintains its viscosity over wide operating temperature ranges. This grease can be used in various bearings and moving parts of GE's Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems.
