Placa de interface serial aprimorada (ESIB) 7900 calibrado é uma placa de interface para o ventilador Aespire 7900. O ESIB serve como elo entre os transdutores de fluxo, transdutor de pressão das vias aéreas do paciente, transdutor de pressão do coletor, sensor de oxigênio, interruptor de limite de pressão de acionamento e a placa da CPU do ventilador. O ESIB também passa por várias posições do comutador para a placa da CPU do ventilador. Ele fornece uma interface para o interruptor ACGO, o interruptor Bag / Vent, o interruptor de liberação da caixa, o interruptor da tampa do painel de controle (ABS On / Off), o interruptor de derivação de CO₂ e os interruptores de identificação do circuito respiratório. Todos os sinais do interruptor são filtrados para interferência eletromagnética (EMI) e de descarga eletrostática (ESD). Os transdutores de pressão para medir a pressão diferencial estão localizados no ESIB.
