A breathing system or breathing circuit is a medical device used to deliver oxygen, remove carbon dioxide, and deliver inhalational anaesthetic agents to a patient. The cover is made of Radel R-5100, a general purpose ployphenylsulfone (PPSU) resin used for injection molding that offers exceptional hydrolytic stability and toughness. It also offers a high deflection temperature, outstanding resistance to environmental stress cracking, inherently flame retardant, provides excellent thermal stability and possess good electrical properties. This RoHS Compliant cover manifold is used with the breathing circuit of Aisys and Avance Carestation Anesthesia Delivery systems.
