The Screw M4 x 8 Pozidrive Pan Serrated with Nylon A270 is a mechanical fastener. It has a recessed head in the shape of a star set at 45˚ to the main cross. This improves the contact area of the screwdriver into the screw head and also allows more torque to be applied on the screw without damaging it. The time taken to align, screw or unscrew them is reduced due to the usage of more torque than usual. The screw contains teeth like projections or serrations on the lower surface of the head at the edges machined with Nylon A270 such that they are fastened firmly and resist vibration. It is provided as a part of hardware equipment like a drawer in the storage module of an anesthesia delivery system. It is used to fasten the drawer slide on to the body of the drawer so that it can move easily by means of a handle. The serration improves the grip and resistance to external vibrations or shocks, thus avoiding any damage to the unit.
