O kit de válvula de agulha é fornecido como parte do módulo de controle de fluxo. É uma válvula que controla a taxa de fluxo de gás em um medidor de fluxo, ajustando o orifício variável, proporcionando assim um fluxo ajustável ativo. Quando a válvula é aberta, o orifício ao redor da agulha é liberado e o fluxo aumenta. A válvula contém um botão de controle com código de cores para cada gás, facilitando a distinção. O botão de controle possui ranhuras na superfície e é codificado em cores para melhor identificação.. A rotação manual do botão no sentido horário diminui o fluxo. A rotação no sentido anti-horário aumenta o fluxo. Essa válvula é usada em muitos sistemas de anestesia GE.
