The Cable SER/SER Download Port Extruded is used in Aestiva 7900, Aespire 7900 and much other medical equipment as applicable. This part comes under the modality of Anesthesia Delivery. This cable is having two input ports and one output port which are specified as End A, End B and End C respectively. A serial interface permits communication to external monitoring. The manufacturing and inspection follow IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements and acceptance for cable and wire harness assemblies and is performed as specified for class 3 requirements. The RS-232C connector allows serial input/output of commands and data. The 15-pin connector is located on the back of the display unit. RS232 cables support a typical transmission speed of 9600 bps at 15 m. They provide asynchronous communication capabilities with hardware flow control, software flow control, and parity checking. Most gears, instruments with digital control interfaces, and communication devices have an RS232 interface. The various types of serial cable may be also grouped by application. The application may determine the cable's dimensional and electrical specifications, as well as its end connectors and approvals and certifications.
