Socket Head Cap screws are commonly used in machine assembly, especially for removable panels and parts. They are ideal for precision work with close tolerances and have greater tensile strength than Hex Head Cap screws. This M8 size 30 mm long Socket Head Screw is a temporary joint that can be removed without damaging components, and used with nuts or directly driven into tapped holes. It has a round cap with a hexangonal socket and is tightened with an Allen wrench or Allen key. Made of stainless steel material, the socket head cap screw has good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. These screws are used in the assemblies of GE's Aestiva Anesthesia Delivery systems.
